Throughout your life, you have formed a set of values and meanings to make sense of the world you live in. These values and meanings constitute your beliefs and your beliefs are what you hold to be true about life. Your beliefs are at the core of your existence and you wouldn’t be the person you are now without them.

Beliefs are your map of world, and underlie your internal representations. Therefore, beliefs have an influence on your emotional state and behavior.

You get a belief and value from how you experience this world. Once you are able to become more aware of the distorted beliefs you hold, it is possible to begin to question them and challenge them.

The things we manifest in our life come from our subconscious beliefs rather than our conscious thinking. If we believe everything we think on is going to manifest in one form or another, we’ll probably walk about terrified because most of us aren’t thinking optimistic thoughts all the time. If we have the idea that whenever we think a thought, it will create our reality, then we would most likely be afraid to think anything at all.

A “belief system” is a set of mutually supportive beliefs. The beliefs of any such system can be classified as religious, philosophical, ideological, or a combination of these. Philosopher Jonathan Glover says that beliefs are always part of a belief system, and that tenanted belief systems are difficult for the tenants to completely revise or reject.

We all have the capacity to create an amazing life and live our dreams, however the only thing that blocks you, are your limiting beliefs about yourself.
